Maybe she just doesn't pay attention to that type of thing.

CBT T showed his age in an endearing way. When I asked what day/time we were meeting the following week, he said "same bat time same bat channel."

LOL, for some Adam West is THE only Batman!!! Pow!

We're both probably lamo's but we tend to go back and forth about grammar things (like "i don't think that is how you pronounce that word...is that even a real word...totally just made that up"). It's always done in a humorous/sarcastic way though, and its nice to know there is another weirdo out there like me. :]

I just found out what the ice bucket challenge is, like, last week or something. My brother patiently explained it me like one might explain traffic lights to a Martian. He started with "so you know there's this thing called ALS?"

My pdoc is probably the most badass person that I know, but she is totally afraid of flies. She completely freaks out.

That must be inconvenient for her since there are flies everywhere

My T didn't know who Brene Brown was either..must be a T thing

She is such a tecnophobe, its funny! She doesn't really know how to work her mobile very well and gives the impression that she rarely uses a computer

She is a therapist (I believe) who has done a lot of research about shame and vulnerability. I first heard of her when I watched her TED talk, its AMAZING!!

Haha, every therapist I've seen has said to me at one point, "Do you know who Brene Brown is? I think you'd like her books!" So I've sort of assumed that every T knows who she is, which obviously isn't the case.

My T can talk in really funny voices, and sometimes she makes fun of herself by doing this. I get the feeling that she does really great impressions. She also has one of those faces that can really wiggle into a lot of great expressions.

One thing my T does that I like (but annoyed me at first, haha) is her expressiveness. She is so expressive with her feelings and reactions. If she dislikes something, she REALLY dislikes it. And if she likes something, she LOVES it. It's pretty fun.

I tend to be very expressive with what I am thinking and T can read them well. It use to really drive me crazy because she would call me on it...and sort of tease me (not in a mean way) if what I said and what my face said were different.

I'm not very expressive, but my T can still read me like that. It drives me crazy sometimes, too, because I can't pretend anything. And sometimes she won't say anything about it for months, not until I bring it up, mostly because she wants me to bring things up if they're bothering me.

I have no idea why but whenever she's cold or mean (she's not really mean, I'm just super sensitive to things she does) I have feelings for her. If she tells me she missed me, or cares about me etc. I don't feel anything..

My T sighs when I say something sad, and puts her head on one side. It's really sweet. And when I feel something, I don't even say it, and she says something like 'yes, I felt sad when you said that, too'. Genius.

But today she said her cat left home for four days and she was really worried and looked really upset. She loves her cats

My psychiatrist has been spelling "Vyvanse" incorrectly on my prescriptions for years now (he spells it "Vyvance"). IDK why but I think it's adorable. I don't know if I'll ever have the heart to tell him.
