I feel so uncomfortable with this new T at the moment, but at the same time having to wait a week to see her again seems too far away. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to relax and open up?

It takes time. Don't be hard on yourself and say what you're able to say.

Give it time, I haven't been that comfortable with my new Therapist either but I am slowly getting used to her.

I went through the same thing with my new t 2 months ago... it's still kinda going on. the only thing that has worked has been me resolving to go back and just take things as they come. relationship- and trust-building is difficult work, and takes time...

I just keep going back and time and exposure seem to be helping.
Thanks for this!

I have no idea how I would get used to another t when I finish this one. Hopefully I'll have the skills not to need to go to therapy again.
