I'm considering starting group therapy for csa. Never done formal group therapy before. I talked with the T who leads it on the phone and it sounds like it might be good for me. I am going to meet with her individually to discuss further.

If you have been to group therapy before, what was your experience like? What questions should I ask this T to help me decide if it is a good fit for me?

I'm in group therapy. I really like it because a lot of stuff gets brought up by getting triggered by others that doesn't happen in one on one therapy. Ask me anything you want.

As for questions to ask. Hmnnnn I don't know. I imagine the best thing to do would be to try it.

I'm looking into going to a a group for persons with disabilities, I'd love to know what others have to say about the group experience too.

I'm not finding too many group therapy opportunities in my area. I asked T and she's not familiar with any but she is going to look into it for me.

I just happened upon mine by looking on the psychology today. I just found it listed in a T's profile.
