Then it would be a good idea to get off this forum so that you don't say something you regret.

Growli, you always regret it. So it's not a good idea to do it again. IMO, you've definitely crossed the line from drinking to being an alcoholic. But that's just my opinion.

I agree with hazelgirl and granite, you need some help, drunk posting makes no sense , we don't understand you, you are not being rational when you are not sober.

It's like going to therapy or a doctors appt or school drunk. Go to sleep, get some help.

Take care of yourself Growli, and please remember that though I'm sure this may seem like a good way to do so, there are other ways and people here to support you in trying them. We all want what's good and best for you and your health.

I think this is a place that is safer to post drunk than many other things one could do drunk.
If it helps keep someone safe, I would encourage posting here.

In addition to posting here you may want to journal a little if you are having strong feelings.

Also drink a large glass of water before going to bed.

I am sorry you're feeling so bad.

I agree that there are many worse things one can do when drunk than post here. If it helps, why not. Nobody is forced to read or respond. I can only imagine how bad one has to feel to do this.

How bad someone has to feel to drink a lot? I didn't drink since Weds. But I do drink alone when I do. Probably bad. Makes life more bearable and the nights faster.

I'm just terrified of trying to sleep and don't want to remember anything. Drunkingly crying over LCM and adventure time is a lot better than flashbacks

In the past I couldn't buy it and I cut myself or ODed on pills. So I was still doing dramatic things. This is just more socially acceptable except I guess I still on occasion take too much pills.

Alcohol is a depressant, which can do more harm with your history.

Flashbacks are bad, I have them, drinking to get rid of them is worse. You don't get rid of them, alcohol masks it and makes it worse. Only you can choose. I'm dealing with the same thing. I have a drinking problem. I know I'm a bing drinker. I stay away or try to at least.

I'm not one to sugarcoat stuff, but I will always tell it like it is, even if it seems harsh. Genuineness and truthfulness are great qualities.
