So my mom told me a couple months ago that I have Aspergers (I'm 17). In 8th grade she told me I have Central Auditory Processing Disorder. I was in the hospital 3 times and they all of course say I have depression. One time I asked my mom if she says it's "one thing" (referring to Aspergers), then why are all these other doctors saying all these other things as well? She says they all go together in one thing.
Just tonight I was looking on the internet at Lamictal side effects (because I have quite a few of them) and I saw something that said "Psychotic Depression" so I clicked on it and looked it up and it's symptoms- and EVERY SINGLE SYMPTOM EXCEPT ONE WAS EVERYTHING I'VE EVER EXPERIENCED. Like I'm not even kidding. Constipation, anxiety, agitation/anger, social impairment, the list goes on! I'm like 85% this is it. But is my mom right? Do those things all go together? Because I'm totally sure that this "Psychotic Depression" is what I have, it explains my situation so well, sad to say.
Thanks!

Neither you nor your mother should be diagnosing you. We have professionals for a reason. Make an appointment with a psychiatrist for a complete evaluation.
