I turned to look at T, she was sitting with elbow on arm of chair, chin in hand listening, and..... Her eyes were wet inside...
I had to look away....

I can't look. There have been a couple of times I was reading something or talking and heard sniffles, and a quiver in her voice afterward, but I just couldn't look....

Well I can't see that happening with the guy T I'm with now.

But in group, a guy showed up drunk and was crying the whole time. I was a little uncomfortable with it but I tried to still be supportive and offer positive feedback rather than criticize him.

When my therapist has watery eyes they are usually glassy and he is desperately trying not to fall asleep. He has dozed off a few times. I just say, time to go get another cup of coffee.
