How would you choose a therapist to treat APD?

I would think a therapist or psychiatrist who diagnoses you with APD would have some suggestions. If you want to choose a therapist for yourself based on your own feelings for what you'd like to work on, I'd call a couple in your area and ask them if they treat problems like yours and then make an appointment to interview them if they do to see if you "like" them personally and think you could work with them.
