I get that, I've had times where I hated my therapist, too. It's OK to tell your therapist that you hate him/her.
Thanks for this!

Hating a therapist is a healthy response to threats the T poses to our psyche. They are trying to break it down and rebuild it. The process sucks.
Thanks for this!

I went through a period of hating my t this month in fact. It didn't last long, but it was intense. I haven't told her about it yet, because I had to cancel my last session at the last minute due to getting lost in the desert at session time (which happened as a result of said hatred)!! I'm over it now and will be talking to her tomorrow, and will be telling her allll about it. I think they expect us to hate them at some point or another during therapy, like LindaLu says. It's a difficult process.

Yep. I've been there this week as well. And even worse, I've noticed that I hate him the VERY most when it's my last remaining option before actually talking about whatever I'm not dealing with out loud. Even worse. I hate him due to the fact that my hatred is not even really about him. Jackwagon.
Thanks for this!

Exactly this! Can I use that word "jackwagon"? It's so sublimely perfect!

I hate my therapist right now. She pushed my buttons, told me she on purpose does not answer all of my emails (that she encourages) because she knows that I can handle it, and then told me that I have a low tolerance for emotional distress and separation. Then she left on vacation. Ugh.
