I'm sorry that there are so many sad threads lately. I WAS sad after my session on Tuesday and wrote to my T about it. The child part is still desperately in need of love but was frustrated in the session. I think there is something I need to get out but I don't know what it is. It has to do with my past and keeping everything inside of me. It has to do with not talking to people for so many years, and not confiding in my Mom about stuff bothering me. I feel sad for that child and know only I can hold her, not T.

My T didn't reply until today, but she was compassionate and caring, and said she's thinking about me. The best part is that she signed her email "Love, T". I had brought up in the session how I wish she would do that, and I signed mine that way. I sign emails to friends " Love, rainbow (with my real name of course)and get them back too. Why does it feel so different and special that my T wrote it? Because she's not my friend? She's MORE than my friend! I feel warm all over when I look at those words. I never in all of my years of therapy with 6 different Ts would ever thought any of them would write "love" to me. My heart needs this. I don't know why but I know it's healing for me.

Aw that's so nice. I know my t would never do that she's obsessed with boundaries.
