This week is my last joint session with my old and new therapist. I'll have half a session with both of them and the other half with my old therapist. I've been through this transition several times before because of the type of clinic I go to.
So I'm prepared for it but still my heart hurts some to lose my old therapist. I think I'm anxious too because I've not connected with the new therapist like I have with my others yet. She's nice and all but something about her personality is off putting. And I'm not sure if I can ask for another therapist the way this clinic is set up if I determine she's not right for me.

I didn't because I haven't had a chance to talk to her in private since I've met the new one. I'll see how this week goes and bring it up during my partial session with the old therapist if I'm still feeling that way.
