So last night I said goodbye to my old therapist. It was supposed to be a joint session with the new therapist but she was sick so it was just me and the old therapist.

Today I'm feeling it though, last night it wasn't too bad but today I can feel the fear and nerves and general upset at losing her. I know I'll be fine but I can't help but miss her.

She gave me a hug at the end of the session and sent me a final email about something she forgot to print for me. Oh and she wrote me a card which I've yet to read.

Goodbyes are so hard, especially after this year for me.

I know it's painful. I'm so glad she left you the card, so you can refer back to it and be reminded of her concern and care for you.
