Ok, this is following Mouse's Abbott & Costello post, which I thought was such a wonderful, light-hearted idea in creating the fantasy of what we want out of our Ts. I would love read T mine, but I don't know that I would have the courage. Thank you Mouse, for the idea and the laugh... I think we could all use a laugh!! Anyway, here it goes:
T: Hello. What's been going on this week? Me: Nothing. T: Alright... What would you like to talk about? Me: You pick the topic. T: Great idea! Let's talk about the formation of primitive defense mechanisms. Me: Yes, let's... (We proceed with an in depth discussion about defense mechanisms, which lasts for about 10 minutes. He is obviously impressed with my knowledge of the topic, and comments on the new insight I have provided him with). Me: OK, I'm tired of this. Let's talk about me. T: Last week we ended the session with the discussion of having to reduce our sessions to once per week. You seemed really upset about this, and frankly, I'm probably more upset than you. Me: Really? T: What's the point of coming to work if I can't see you more than once per week? Me: What should we do about it? (hahahaha, this is seriously getting so pathetic, and I'm sitting here at my desk, cracking myself up) T: I will terminate a few clients so that you can have your pick of which slots you'd like to take. Me: Sounds great. Could you bring in a couple books for me to borrow next session? T: Of course. Me: See you in a couple days. T: Indeed. Nice shoes, by the way. Me: Thanks. |

My favorite part is the "nice shoes."
![]() Here's my ideal session: Sister: Hi T: Hi Sister: It's beautiful out today. I'm so glad it's finally spring. T: Yes, would you like me to open the window? Sister: That would be nice. Sister: I'm tired today, I don't feel like talking. T: Why don't you lie on the couch and take a nap? Sister: Okay (lies on couch) T: Here, I have this nice blanket (tucks me in) T: Sweet dreams. Touches me on shoulder. Sister: Sleeps T: (after 30 mins) Sister, it's time to wake up. Sister: Yawns and stretches T: Would you like some tea? Sister: That would be nice. Sits up. T: Tell me about your dreams. Sister: Sips tea and retells a dream. T: Offers interpretations T: It's time to stop. Sister: Okay, see you next week.

Oh it would never happen... he is incredibly aware of boundaries and I have too many of my own...
but I would like to have some great sex with him. Probably more than 50 minutes together There I said it. That is today... I will work on another tomorrow. More PG... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

LOL. These are great.
PS - I also loved the part about the shoes. I always wish my T would complement my clothes. I totally dress up for her, but I know she'll never say anything! |

I want to read mine to my T on Friday, but I don't think I have the courage. Either that, or I'd pass out laughing in the middle of it. I know that he'd value it for it's meaning, but he'd find it funny as hell, also. There are many times in which I will say something and I can tell he is trying so hard to hold back a laugh... I will say, "Just let it out!! I can tell you want to!" A couple times he has cracked up and said, "I know, I know it wasn't supposed to be funny.... but it was!!" I love when he does this... I think we have similar types of humor, and I love the fact that we have reached a point in which he is comfortable using that type of humor in session.

I make my T laugh alot... and somehow that is a victory. He will not tell me that he likes me but somehow if he laughs... I feel he must like me. Not necessarity but I hope.
I love to make him laugh... but not too much. |

Sometimes I cannot tell if he is laughing because he actually thinks I'm funny, or if he is just amused, lol. Perhaps it's both. I'm alright with that. I try to insist that I exhaust him, but he won't admit it. There have been occasions in which I swear it looked like his eyeballs were about to start spinning in two different directions. I can be difficult to keep up with at times. But he does a good job.

He reminds me quite a bit about boundaries so I know not to go there. It's kind of one of those fantasy things ya know?

Ohhhhhh Yaaaaaaa.... I knew there were people hiding that were not admitting to it... yes a fantasy.
Once he complained about something in his neck and shoulders and I joked that I give a pretty good shoulder rub... He said if it was not such a blatant crossing of boundaries I might take you up on it. When my first pdoc died I was grief stricken that he said ...f.... him. Well what an opportunity. I had the fantasy night or several in my efforts to say good bye or assuage my sadness. It was powerful to me. Now that was love.... This would be lust... I suppose that would find me a way to his heart in my hopes to finally connect in a different way. I do think he could be fun tho....lol And though I shared some of my experiences of my fantasies with number 1 I doubt I would ever talk about these thoughts...lol... Might feed his ego more than need be.... |

Yes some of us are 'hiding' I guess <giggle>.
I respect my T too much to put him in a bad situation that could ruin his life and career. So when I stop fantasizing and start thinking, this is what I remember. Now, if therapy was over for awhile and the opportunity presented itself somehow...I would love to at least be friends if he wanted that. I'm secretly hopeful for that day but I realize it may never happen.
