Hey guys. This is updating you all from my previous post. I went with therapist B. We had a session today and I updated him on things through the months and we decided to continue therapy again. I called therapist A afterwards and left him a voicemail saying how I wanted to discontinue therapy. He oddly texted me back saying that it's okay and understandable and that his door is always open if something goes wrong.. I feel so bad for leaving Therapist A. I feel like I wasted his time and everything. Ugh.

I like therapist B a lot because he is more caring and understanding. But I feel bad for wasting therapist A's time.

Don't beat yourself up! No need to feel bad, you have to do what's best for you and I'm sure he understands

Good for you for making a decision. Glad you were able to get back together with a more caring and understanding T. As for feeling bad about wasting T -A's times, you need to do what's best for you, plus you paid this T for his time. No wasting there!
Thanks for this!
