I am feeling better.
I talked to T yesterday and tried to explain how anxious I am about her vacation and how I'm having trouble with confusion and self-soothing. It helped just to admit it to her. Hearing her reassuring voice helped, too. Plus, I have a back-up plan to help with anxieties that might come up during her vacation. ![]() T vacations- blech! Does anyone else have a helpful backup plan for T's vacation? |

I'm glad you're feeling better, and that your T was helpful.

T has a male therapist taking her call while she is gone. I realized that after what I have been through, I can't in any way imagine myself listening to a male therapist on the phone trying to say comforting things to me!
![]() I wrote T and told her that, too. I feel angry...not at T...but mad at just imagining me trying to do that. I probably won't be calling this therapist on call. Maybe I would if I had to....but I thought of a different back up plan that works out a lot better. Now T has my permission to go on vacation. ![]() |
