After over a little over a year I have a healthy attachment to my T. It took a lot of hours, pushing myself, and a leap of faith but it finally happened. I feel secure and I'm not scared of her abandoning me anymore.

I'be been going through a bad break-up since last week and she's been really supportive. at my session yesterday she was very honest with me about the relationship with my ex-boyfriend and I needed to hear what she's been saying for awhile and now as well. She's been incredibly understanding about everything and validating my feelings. She said at one point that these kinds of situations in our lives, but what is really hard is when someone who loves you tells you the truth about another person concerning yourself. She was basically saying that she loves me and I dudnt freak out. I didn't get scared or anything. It was a good feeling to hear someone tell me they love me and believe them. No hesitations or anything.

Thanks for this!

This is so good and important. I remember how good I felt when I was connected like that to former t and it was such a good feeling, part of the hard work is geting that connection going and then once it's there you can do deeper work.
