T2 and I have a set time for our sessions, every other Thursday evening. However with her doing her exam for her program, we switched it to Tuesday morning this week. I agreed, because I knew I wasn't able to see her last week due to her vacation, and I didn't want to miss a session. My H was already upset that he'd have to take and pick me up and pick up my son from day treatment before going into work on his birthday today, but said he was fine with it when I scheduled it.

Anyway, I got to the office and waited until our session time.until 15 minutes after our scheduled time. She never showed so I left.

I texted her, and asked if we had scheduled that day or if it was for Thursday. She called me, and said "God, I'm such an asshole for missing our session." lol She apologized and asked if we could reschedule for next week, so I'm seeing her next Tuesday morning per my request. Said it's been a hard week and she had a death in the family. I feel bad for her, since I've no showed at appointments, but also a little upset because I felt like I needed this session.

After we hung up, she texted me a little later saying she would do the next 2 sessions free of charge since she knew it takes a lot for me to get to therapy (with 3 kids and 1 car). And apologized again & thanked me for being so understanding.

I hate having my schedule messed up. I had things that I wanted to talk about, but now they'll have to wait a week. And since I see two T's, I'll have them both next week now instead of seeing 1 each week like I had it arranged.

That would be very upsetting, especially with all the work involved in you getting there. I'm glad she owned up to it and made it right as best she could.

Thank you all. I'm glad that I can see her next week instead of having to wait our usual 2 weeks. Especially since she's technically over with her program tomorrow, and is seeing me for another few sessions.
