I'm currently in the 3rd week of not seeing my T and won't for another week. So in total it'll be a month. Just curious as to how long you've gone without seeing your T? I like the freedom

A couple of months or so. It was not a big deal for me.

T2 had 2 weeks off so that resulted in a 3 week break, and I didn't cope well. Last year with T1 I had a 3 week vacation then he had a 2 week vacation and it ended up as a 7 week break. That was horrendous.

You didn't give the option of 2 weeks, but that's the longest I've gone w/o seeing a T while in therapy.

About 5 weeks...1 week still to go. At first I thought It will b terrible. I will have a hard time. I missed him at first. Not so much anymore. I m happy without T. . surprisingly. It's good to know therapy doesn't have that strong hold over me.

10 weeks, just this past summer. More usually 2 weeks when I don't make an appointment in time and she's full up.

I think 2 weeks. I've had a break from my current T for about 1,5 years, but that was because I was doing alright. Until I was totally depressed again and finally called for help.

This year she had one week of vacation. And next week she'll have 2,5 weeks vacation. I won't see her for 3 whole weeks. I don't like it, but she deserves to have a vacation.

I went 4 weeks this summer. We were able to email each other often during this time, so that was my saving grace.

a few months.. rarely need ongoing/regular contact though just depends on what life looks like at the time or if there's something specific i'm wanting to work on/explore.

2 months, while she was on maternity leave, but we did do check ins and a couple of phone sessions, so we didn't have absolutely no contact. It was hard to not see her, but not as bad as I expected. It went quickly.

This T the longest is coming up. I won't see her for about a month after next week. When she comes back I will have 5 weeks left with her before I move. The longest I have gone without seeing any T was probably 6 weeks when my therapist went out of the country. She had me journal. It helped quite a bit and I shared it with her when she got back.

Wow I had no idea a lot of people have gone through such a long time without seeing their T's! I thought a month was a lot but some of you guys beat me by a mile. I'm sort of jealous !
