I had an appointment with a therapist Monday. I'm not sure about her. She just got her master's in social work and is wet behind the ears. I forgot to ask her about supervision, but I could see her inexperience. She didn't spend enough time accessing and jumped into giving suggestions (have you tried blah). This isn't my first time in this agency. I saw my old therapist here and she can access my notes and plus every intake/update they've completed. However, I'm concerned if she's skilled enough to care for me

Is there someone else in the agency you could see? You could also let her know next session that you aren't looking for suggestions. Maybe she's just overeager and feels like she has to be offering something? I definitely prefer being with experienced T's, so I understand...
