Been seeing T for a while, we get along and all, but I've been going through a really difficult time lately and it's been really hard to get appts bc T's schedule is so busy. I should probably be going more times a week during this time, and that is just not feasible with T's schedule. Is this a good reason to find someone new?

Can you wait for her schedule to ease up? That is the question you should ask yourself. You could also find someone for the time being and then see your regular T when her schedule eases up.

That was one of my reasons for leaving my first therapist. So yeah, if you need a higher level of support right now, seeing someone else just makes sense I think.
Thanks for this!

I'd find out if other t's have the availability you are looking for first. In my area, it's hard to get an appointment with any good t more than once a week. Is taking on a second t an option, or would that be confusing?
Thanks for this!

If you think you need more than one session a week, it may be worth looking for another, or additional,T. You could look for a new one altogether but in my experience the better Ts tend to be so booked that they just don't have the time. Will she make ur time for you if you book your appointments out months in advance, or is she booked out that far already?
Thanks for this!

Yes.

Your therapist sounds overbooked.
