Anyone ever gone through the process of a complaint with the State and Board regarding misconduct of your therapist? Complaint wasn't made by me, but they got my name and I'm finding it very difficult and stressful.

Yes, I did.

I found the complaint process retraumatizing- even though I knew I was in the right.

May I help you with something?

My experience was stressful and difficult, even for a relatively small infraction and even doing it on my own schedule when it was no longer wound-fresh. I was most helped by reading and talking to others who had been through it.

These people will correspond with you.
