The mental health workers hypnotized me to think that my name was Samantha. They were stalking me online and calling me Samantha. So, I thought my name was Samantha and not Sarah. Has anyone else forgot their name?

I'm not sure what to say. I don't mean to sound invalidating, but do you have evidence of this, and have you had similar things happen in the past but with other people that you thought were out to get you? And have you mentioned this to your primary T or doctor?

Now I do understand that when people get hypnotized, they might have certain kinds of hallucinatory experiences and that a hypnotist might make suggestions and these can be confusing. And there is of course also the possibility of people stalking others online, and it happens to many people and it's considered illegal and abusive. So if that's the case it definitely needs to be reported to proper authorities.

But you need to sort all this out first and best thing is talk to your primary therapist and figure it all out.
Thanks for this!
