Hi everyone,

I haven't been on this site for a while. Recently I have had to transition to a new T. My last T is retiring. I like my new T and I think it will work out, but the transition was rough. I have been in therapy consistently for the last 13 years and am now on my 4th long term therapist (considering things work out with this new one). I have been strongly attached and connected to each of my therapists so it is hard. Anyway, I am just on here seeking support as its hard to find people to talk about this with in real life.

Hi turquoise
I really hope this new t works out for you.
It's hard to connect to a new after forming a bond with others especially when you have no choice about the ending, such as your last ts retirement.
I hope this new t can help you process ex ts retirement and hold you in this hard time
