In six months, I will be moving out of the country for my husband's sabbatical for three months. The idea of moving to a place where I don't know anyone, don't speak the language, and will be solely responsible for the education and entertainment of my two teenaged children while my husband, who does speak thee language, is at work all day is stressful and has been the topic of therapy recently. However, my therapist seems overly concerned with whether or not I will "miss" him. He was so happy when I said I would fine without him, but when I acknowledged that I was a little concerned about what it would be like not to see him for that long after seeing him every week for three years, he attributed it to unhealthy dependency. We're meeting tomorrow to discuss this and other related things, but I don't know what to say or think..

That's ridiculous! Firstly, you have a right to your own feelings and no T should tell you how to feel. Secondly, of course you are going miss someone you've seen regularly for years.
