Today my T mixed up our time. She thought our appointment was an hour later than we had scheduled it. I waited for 45 minutes. At about 4o minutes I asked the receptionist if she was in today, and found out she was. Then the receptionist went and checked on my T who was with another client. My T came out a few minutes later and apologized and rescheduled for tomorrow morning. I'm just a little annoyed though. At first I thought she was just later than her usual 15-20 minutes, but around 30 I started to worry something happened to her or she got in a car accident. I also worried that she forgot about me, or that she was mad at me and didn't want to see me anymore. I feel bad that the receptionist interrupted her with the other client, and that she left that client for a minute. I'm grateful she came out to speak to me though. And she texted me soon after saying sorry and that I was right about the appointment time. I had to work soon so I couldn't stay for the appointment time she had thought we were at. I really wanted to see her today though so I'm annoyed about this. I know she's human and makes mistakes though, and that it was an accident. I was worrying that it could have been on purpose though. Blah! Anyways, I just needed to vent. I do want to clarify that my T is super wonderful despite all of this though. She's a bit disorganized at times, but she's really great in other areas.

Sounds like you handled a stressy moment well. Anyone would be peeved, your T knows she was wrong but has done the best she can to put it right.
Thanks for this!

I think you did well to stick around and to ask about it and deal with it well. Hope your session tomorrow goes well.
Thanks for this!
