My son and I were out doing the shopping this morning and ran into our T at Petsmart. It was kind of cool as we haven't seen him in about two years. My son gave him a hug and we chit-chatted about life for a few minutes. We got to meet his new dog -- he's a gorgeous German Shepherd. T was glad to see us and get a chance to hear what we've been up to.

Later, my son said, "We've all come a long way, haven't we?" Yes, we have; yes, we have.

Our T did great work with all of us, got us through some very rough patches, and showed us how to manage it all on our own. It was nice to see him again, but I am SO glad that none of us have any reason to see him long-term any longer. Therapy was quite a success for all of us. Great T.

That's great.
It's good to read success stories.

That is so cool your son is able to see that. Also cool that he has parents open to doing something about stuff. Not like my parents: "no! Im too old to change! Just do what i say!" Sheesh!
Thanks for this!

So nice to hear of positive experiences in therapy and outside of therapy, your t sounds like a lovely, warm and open t.

Yes, sometimes I think it was providence that my husband and I have had the challenges we've had in order to prepare us for the challenges that are our sons.
