So, I've had to reduce T to once every 4 weeks. So, I've decided to replace the missing sessions with writing poetry and painting. Gonna see how that does. I just can't afford T more right now.

That is such a smart idea! I love that you're doing such great self-care activities when you can't get to therapy!

Good luck! Art is indeed therapeutic. I also write poetry and it has often proven very healing as well as a great source of insight. I hope you have a useful experience with your new self-therapy activities.

I see my t only every few months now because I work two jobs and what little free time I have I prefer doing my hobbies or spend with loved ones. So what I did couple of times when I had concerns was repeating what t said to me last time ( like oh she says not to worry about other people so much etc etc)

Great idea! If you wanted to share your poems I recommend this poetry site: The World's Largest Poetry Site - Discussion & Poem Contests . There are a really friendly bunch of people on the site offering positive feedback and encouragement, and it's been an important tool in my own therapeutic process. Good luck with your new routine
