She doesn't mean all the time. We will still be meeting in office but she wants to come by sometime.

She wants to meet my cat lol

I would not let the therapist come to my home. I cannot imagine why such a thing would ever come up for me.
Do you want it? Could you just tell the therapist no?

My T visited once. It was weird. But I didn't mind. Liked the fact she wanted to see how I live. I guess it helps with therapy if she can imagine my life a bit better.

We said we'd sit on the porch and chat.

I have never had a home visit for an appointment. T has been to my house a couple of times but neither time I was home. Once we had been discussing me planting flowers and a few days later she went flower shopping for her personal use and bought me a couple and dropped them off at my house..(she emailed me so I knew she would be doing it)
Another time I offered to let her borrow something. She offered to come get it but I was working I left it on the porch for her.

I honestly don't think could have a session at my house though.

When I was struggling to fit in a session once my T said that if she was in the area she could pop in. Luckily when she checked her diary she wasn't because I didn't like the idea really and I don't think I would have been string enough to say no. For some I reckon it could be great, so good for you if its what you want to do. But for me, though part of me thinks it would be lovely, my initial reaction was 'God, no, I don't want you muddying the waters even more, this is my space'. My T often does home visits though because a lot of her clients are house bound.

I hope that if it is what you want then it happens and it proves healing for you.

I have the option to get a therapist to come to my home weekly for 6 months but I chose just to go in weekly.
