My therapist and I had a rupture a couple of months ago and things still seemed a tad stifled until yesterday. I was telling her about my relationship with a new guy that I've been dating and after about 10 mins of listing some of my annoyances with him my T says:

"SOCONFUSED623!!! YOU ARE IN A RED FLAG STORE THAT ONLY SELLS RED FLAGS AND YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A BLUE FLAG!!"

"SOCONFUSED623!!! YOU ARE IN A RED FLAG STORE THAT ONLY SELLS RED FLAGS AND YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A BLUE FLAG!!"

LMAO, OK, I get it!!

I really felt like she cared about me when she said those words. I hope that our relationship continues to strengthen.

I think that her message was that there was no way she was going to let me get involved with someone that didn't treat me well.

Thanks
