So I see a body work therapist who my T also sees. My T referred me and facilitated my initial meeting with the person as I have some unusual issues with my body. My T and I both felt I'd benefit from the body work but I needed help getting comfortable with the idea.
Fast forward a few months and I love my body work therapist and we often sit around and talk for a while after my sessions ( we have similar senses of humor and just crack each other up) Tonight I mentioned something about my T ( my T and bodywork T are both helping with some stuff related to my eating disorder). Body work therapist launched into a perfectly sincere monologue about how my T is really a person of such deep spiritual compassion, has a true grasp of unconditional love and how it is used to heal, is always honest and clear in her intentions etc etc etc. It was quite the swarm of compliments ( they've known each other for about 10 years). I felt so happy and proud and also reassured that this other person who is her friend sees my T exactly as I do. It was just a warm fuzzy happy moment! |

That's great to hear all those good things about your T! You knew them already, but it's nice to have them validated by someone who knows your T a long time, isn't it? I sometimes wish I'd hear about my T from someone else. I once found a compliment on line from a cousin of hers, who said something about her wonderful qualities. Also, when I used to look at her FB page, I read comments about her being "beautiful inside and out", as responses to her photo.
