Have you ever had a therapist video record your sessions? Have you ever video recorded your sessions? Do you have pictures of your T or have you taken pictures of your T?

My T has asked to record. I declined. (there was/is a reason but it's not possible for me to say yes to it right now).

I have a couple photos of my T but I haven't taken any of her.

I saw an intern/student many years ago when I couldn't afford regular therapy and was lacking health insurance. It was part of their training to do video recordings, and after awhile I forgot the thing was even on. Though, I don't remember finding therapy to be helpful with her at all. I saw her for a few months, and I can't even remember the woman's name!

I took pictures of my T with my cell phone once, with her permission. Once my H went to see her with me and he pulled out a camera and took her picture. I was embarrassed but I couldn't stop him. She also has her photo on her website.

I don't think your T would mind your taking her photo at your last session but I would ask first. I don't know about videotaping, though. What about just recording your session, or do you do that already? I hope your last session goes well. I never had to leave a T I was very attached to except when I quit my 1st T. I didn't cry until I came home and then I cried all night. But that was a weird situation. I wanted to quit but really didn't.

If I had to quit my current T, I would probably want to hold her hand the whole session. I would try to maintain eye contact. I would try to be present and cry. Just be yourself and don't hold back.

That would be a big no no no no no for me!

I saw an intern years ago in grad school. It was so terribly useless and she was clueless. Can't remember her name either and in fact I saw her close to a year.

There are pics online of my T. I look at them a few times a week for some odd reason. To check and make sure he is still there? Lol I really don't know. It's weird. I would never be comfy with someone recording my sessions. I say way too many strange things
