Today I was able to complete the entrance process at my local community mental health center. I have an appointments with a psychiatrist and therapist a scheduled for the end of the month. I'm disappointed I have to wait a few weeks but I realize there are other current patients who require treatment as well. I feel like I've taken a step in the right direction. The admissions counselor was very compassionate and understanding. I truly hope this will be the right program for me.
