My T finally sent me a text, after 4-5 days of silence from her. She's back in the hospital, with a "superbug." I don't know if it's respiratory, gastrointestinal, or something else, and I didn't ask.

Of course, it WOULD be yesterday that I mailed my holiday gift to her. The P.O. said it would be there on Wednesday. I hope she is the one who sees it first, not her partner or anyone else who would bring "important-looking" mail to her while she's in the hospital.

Ugh, I hope she's OK, that's scary! I doubt her partner would open her mail, unless it was like a bill, something like that.

I'm sorry that she's back in the hospital. As you prolly know, those under treatment for cancer often have a compromised immune system, thus making it easier to acquire a "superbug." In my H's brief treatment, that was one of the complications that didn't befall him.

I'm sure your holiday gift to her will be something that cheers her, no matter when she receives it.
Thanks for this!

Oh Cool I am so sorry. For confidentiality reasons most partners of therapists know not to open their mail. Just like when they are in public and somebody speaks to the partner they know not to ask who it is
