Do you ever fear that your T will just change?

In what way? Changing personality?

I guess sometimes I worry more that something may change in t's life that will distract him.
Thanks for this!

YES. All the time. But that's because she has. Changed boundaries, big time. Traumatized me or something like you wouldn't believe....a year and a half later I'm still suffering. Now I'm always watching for her to change/take something away. It's an awful feeling. She knows I am feeling this way too.

I suppose I mean change in how they are with you- boundaries, etc & that they present a different way of being then what you are used too!

I worry that my T will just decide that I am too much & will change their acceptance of me

Yes. I'm afraid before every session that T's not going to be the same kind person that I've known. The fear was stronger this week as she got back from vacation and it was our first treatment break. I've been seeing T since June. I hope the fear eases as I continue to work with her. I'm fortunate that as a trauma therapist she understands my fear of her changing and my extreme need for consistency.

Yes, my t has changed recently since her disclosure. She was being very hard on me but has softened again. Sometimes her mood is not consistent and that scares me.

I'm afraid that T is going to change her mind about wanting to work with me on a part-time/short-term basis after termination.
