My T has a phrenology head in his office and I noticed in those articles on T offices a while back some Ts had them as well. If phrenology has been discredited why do they have them. Is it a reminder that not everything they practice may turn out to be authentic? I keep meaning to ask my t but if someone else has asked maybe they can share.

I was sort off thinking that but I worry about other clients taking it seriously. I don't know why, maybe other clients don't think too much about his decor. It is hard to see as it is behind the chairs and out of eyeline as you go to the door.

Long term t had a pleasant sunny day illustration of a graveyard above the client couch. I once asked him why a graveyard scene? He said it was to remind himself that we all have limited time and time is too short for people to suffer so he needs to get busy helping people.

As your t he might have an interesting story!

Most of the phrenology heads I've seen are just collector's items. You know, oddities from the past.

I want to ask him about a particular photo he has on the wall behind his chair. It looks like a painting but it is photograph. I know that part of australia holds a special meaning ffor him.

I continue to maintain the illusion that t has that most haunting picture in her office because it affects her somehow, not that she "just likes it" like she said when I asked. I still don't like it. It haunts me. It haunts me a lot less since I wrote my poem about it, I don't feel as drawn to stare at it as I used to, but if I do happen to look at it, it still draws me in. Last weekend it sucked me in big time. It's like, well it reminds me of how I felt when I was in the darkest depths of depression.
