Last month, I think my PDOCs receptionist told me that my next appt was January 8 at 9:40. Now, obviously I found out the 8th was a Sunday so she must have meant the 9th. But I have an appointment scheduled with a new T on January 9 at 10 AM. I'm confused.

Sounds like you'll have to confirm when the MD appointment is and then possibly reschedule one of the appointments.

I will have to do it early in the morning. Hopefully, they open at 8.

Do you not have an appointment card with the date and time on it? I never leave without one, even if I put it in my calendar. That way if I screw up putting it in my own calendar, or somehow they screw up in putting it in their system (it happens), then I have the written date and time to show them or double-check with.
If you aren't expecting a med change, just reschedule if necessary so that you don't miss work. If their is no med change involved, you probably don't need monthly appointments anyway. |

I don't need any med changes but my psychiatrist still brings me in every month.

Congrats on the new job!
Don't worry too much about the mixup- these things happen to everyone! Do you think it would be easier to change the appointment with the psychiatrist? That might be the one I would go with changing. |

It probably isn't necessary, and since you are financially struggling, maybe you should talk to your pdoc about stretching out your appointments a bit -- every six weeks or so.
