I keep hearing about this magical "united" plan that people actually take, but can't find any info on it... I need a therapist. It's been over a year now. I have GH as primary, but can't afford anything at all, so I need somebody who will take the Medicaid, too.

A quick search for "Washington Medicaid Therapists" turns up a few choices. You could call and confirm they're accepting new patients and take medicaid:

Your Primary may also be able to make referrals/ suggestions. Directly calling your managed care organization (or whoever handles medicaid in your state) should turn up some options. Often insurance companies have an online directory where you can look up in-network providers by specialty / location.

Good luck with your search.

I'm on Medicaid but not from Washington. If you have an HMO through Medicaid then make sure the t takes your HMO. I called my Medicaid HMO and asked who was in the plan because the internet was not helpful.
