The other new one that I saw 2 or 3 times never responded to my text asking for another appointment. I asked him if he had any openings and he never wrote or called back.

Did you also try calling him, too? And if it was in the past week or so, it could be that he was out of town for the holidays. Does he have any office staff you could contact? And how did you leave it when you left the last session?

I texted two weeks ago.

The downside is that he eats candy and drinks coffee and soda throughout the sessions and it distracts me.

I'd maybe try contacting him again if you only texted once--text might not have gone through, or he may have missed it, if lots of clients text him. Also, did you identify yourself in the text? T's often don't keep their clients' actual names in their phones. (Though ideally he should have texted back and asked who you were.)

I think it's common for T's to drink liquids during session, like soda, coffee, or water. I see why the candy thing would be annoying, and that's something you could always bring up with him if you end up seeing him again.

I guess the liquid thing is sad for me because it reminds me of when Ex-T used to give me coffee every session. I miss him.
