T said today... Most psychologists get into the field because they have issues themselves, and most of them are bit narcissists themselves. I had to share considering the talks we have had about our Ts. My T has always been quick to say he is not perfect and has issues, but for him to put it that way I found very interesting.

I had no idea one could have ice cream shipped to them.

Oh, good...I am not the only one who didn't know that, then.

Powered by Ice Cream (yes, I am still watching him) lists these 3 as his top favorite ice cream brands; it appears they all ship (little g is insanely expensive):

Ample Hills Creamery - Order Online

Salt & Straw - Fresh Made Ice Cream in Portland and LA

little g ice cream co.

Wouldn't it just be easier to get an ice cream maker with a compressor and make your own?

DBC said much the same thing early on about therapists/psychologists/social workers, with the added bit that psychiatrists tend to be mean pompous people. She also told me what her particular issues were.

Clearly you are not one of those expatriate Michiganders who crave, crave, CRAVE Blue Moon ice cream. (Which is the only reason I know ice cream can be shipped. So can pizza.)

Eta: I wasn't the craver, first husband was. Never saw the fuss about Blue Moon.

Thanks guys!

It wasn't as bad as the sample test. I only ran out of time on one question. (I can't do three table joins in my head and I doubt anyone else can either!) I made some educated guesses and some wild guesses.

They are rather fond of asking questions (syntax, names) that any fool could look up on the internet if he ever really needed to know, but there were comprehension questions too and I think I did well on them. They asked me about a version of SQL that I haven't used for over a decade and which has evolved since then. Groan.

Does the SUM() function return NULL if all the inputs are NULL? I hope not but it's completely arbitrary either way.

I wonder if they put in an impossibly hard question to catch cheats?

I also wonder: do second-best answers score any points? I hope so.

Oh god, I hate technical tests like that.

Lol wtf, why do people test syntax stuff when a decent complier can suggest and auto complete stuff like that?

Yes. I think I proved I have some genuine experience of Java and SQL. I hope that's enough.

I love butterscotch. Or I did, before becoming vegan. I wonder if it has real butter in it or if it would have to be EarthBalanceScotch.

Yep, that is what my T said today.. We were talking about mine going into bsw-msw program in the fall. T has always been open with his issues, and been sure to make it known that he is not perfect. He has mentioned one of his issues in particular. It makes me feel better that there are ts out their that can at least admit they have issues.
