Defeated it for those who thought there was a breach of confidentially...even though the were no identifiers....

The doctor should - it's a clinic for adults, not high school, right? I don't see any advantage to the client from the doctor not addressing it (but there certainly is for the doctor, in not having to draw a boundary or hear about transference, etc.).

I think this sounds like confidential client information. It bothers me to read it here, unless it's the person who wants to disclose this.
Thanks for this!

I just thought the same thing. Client confidentiality is paramount.

There is no identifying information and some facts have been changed slightly that do not effect the actual nature of the situation

Maybe it's good for others to know that their information can be shared in this way if they go to a clinical setting. It's a good reason to see private practice therapists and pdocs if possible.

I still wouldn't be happy to think this were happening if I were the client. That's always my first thought when dealing with my clients' information - "how would I feel about this if I were the client?""
Thanks for this!
