I love my therapist. Lately I'm so afraid that I'll lose him. I've been out of work and don't feel optimistic about finding any. I've told T I'm afraid I'll run out of money or have to leave the area or have to take some job where I can't possibly get away for therapy. Over and over he comforts me. He says that if I can't afford his fees that he will cut his rates for me (I have always paid full fee). He says that if I can't work my job around therapy that he will see me after work. And yet the fear is still there. I guess love is scary because I love him. He has helped me so much.

Sidony, I think those feelings are so understandable!

Sidony, I'm glad you have such a good T who is doing his best to stick with you. I think some promises are hard for us to believe because we really would like the "impossible" if we could get it :-) and never have to leave loved ones or have them never die, etc.

I get that way too. I'm glad your T is so understanding and accomadating. It shows he really cares.
