Back from APN appt. walked out with 150mgs of Effexor to start then next week up to 225mgs, 500 mgs of metformin to start -then next week it goes to 500mgs twice a day, then up from there, 1mg of Klonopin to take as needed up to twice a day.
I pick the scripts up tonight and start tomorrow-the metformin-I'll start Saturday in case it messes with my stomach.

Back on meds. I only lasted 6 months without them. Sigh. I will still remain without a therapist. I'm not giving up there! I refuse to go back to therapy!

Anyone here irritate their therapist? I'm not talking about perceived irritation, but the confirmed variety. I seem to have a knack for this and have shared with her that I don't consider this the kind of relationship where she can be irritated with me. She doesn't agree.

Me! Me! *waves hand frantically*

Absolutely DBC, confirmed, and I'm pretty sure CW and No. 2. I would phrase it more like, this is not the kind of relationship where the therapist can or should show their irritation, but yeah, I agree with you.

was walking with T downtown earlier. we went to a house he wants to buy for his practice. we were looking around. he said someone lives in the cottage in the back. a man pulls up in a truck. he stops to talk to us. T says we're just checking out the property. the guy knew T's business/practice name. he asked us if T and i were related. T and i looked at each other and said no. the man said that we look related. T said yeah, the red hair and freckles. the man asked T if T is a massage therapist. T said im a psychotherapist. the guy said well get in my truck i need to talk to someone.

it was a funny , random thing. after the man pulled away T said "i thought you were going to die from social awkwardness!!!" i said "im used to it"

how bad would it have been if i had answered the man, "yes, he's my daddy "

XT showed irritation more than once. I told her flat out that if I'm getting her aggravated, she has 2 choices:
1. Send your boss in to fill in the rest of the session.
2. Accept it, get over it and leave your stuff out of the room Because I do have a knack for irritating people.

After her initial shock she was like: where did that inner fire come from? I want to see more of that! Okay, so I guess you chose option 2. Carry on..

Sorry about your car JD. I'm gonna read up on Metformin. My APN said I could email her with questions. I'm not worried about it curbing my appetite. I have a few pounds to spare. I more worried about if it's gonna give me stomach issues. That's why I'm starting Saturday. I can't sit at work in the bathroom all day. I don't eat at work though. I only eat breakfast and dinner. So we will see how the weekend goes.

That's my story to. 80 bucks in the grocery store. Called hubby on the way home from said grocery store: "What do you want me to pick up to eat? I'm not cooking"
"Jersey, aren't you on the way back from grocery shopping?"
"Yes, so a sandwich it is , then? Okay be home soon"

Lol, well the pharm (not pharm manager) who was on tonight laughed when I walked in and said I have to talk to you. Supposedly, Caremark sent the store a list of people covered by them that would no longer have their medication covered. I was on that list for the Invega Sustenna. The list did give a suggestion of something they would cover to talk to my dr about. Their suggestion was Aristada. I did a form check while at work to get a price estimate. Lowest dose is just over $200 copay. Next lowest was just over $300 copay. I thought they might have a co-pay assistance program, so I google it when I get home and the site says copay assistance may be available and gives a number to call for more information. They close at 8pm est though, so I couldn't call tonight. I plan to call in the morning before my interview. If I can get copay assistance, then I may talk to pdoc about this. If I can't then I still couldn't afford it either. Looks like pdoc and I are going to have some serious discussion tomorrow at my appointment.

i think it's wise to wait to try it on a day you don't have much going on.

Fed. Had left over chicken francese from when I ate out on the way home from the far away CVS store. Microwave is my friend.

Now to try to clean a little more...maybe hanging up clothes will be next. That will take away half of what is on my bed. I have been sleeping in a ball at the end of my bed for the past 2 or 3 weeks, as that is the only space available. So having half a bed back would be nice. Lol.

I am glad you prefer the chocolate wafers over golden. I have never tried a golden oreo, but most certainly can tell you it won't win over chocolate.

I have never thought of this before! I guess if each give "1 thumb up," it means both thought it equally great.

GASP. My brother never liked cake as a kid (i am assuming he doesn't now). I don't think he really likes chocolate all that much. I am the complete opposite

Okay...in general, GROSSSSS. I like chocolate in all forms, so despite the gross breathing in the face thing, I'd be okay with that.

BUT...peanut butter, which I L-O-V-E, I HATE in people's breath. yuck.

It is hard when anything bad happens to a pet. I hope he gets better and is not in too much pain.

Oh before we get to a new couch. I told t i told you guys that ts did not own the airspace, so it was okay to run the blimp with the message, "dont go on vacation! Stay here with meeeeeee!!!" However, he also said there was no guarantee that a t would look up and see the message, then he goes, "is that what you guys are doing now? Making jokes about this stuff?" I said, well i am! He asked if ts vacation came up frequently as a topic. I also explained a little about our russian connection.

I gave him his 321 cake mix, and he goes, only 47 more shopping days til my birthday! I think we let our whiner child out with each other sometimes. Yesterday i was calling him my special boy. Like a 7 yr olds birthday card.

I had chicken fettucini, which, since my body is doing that thing where it won't eat anything more than two bites at a time, is now cooling its heels in the fridge.

Jelly donut Oreo?

I've got one of those in the fridge too. Except when I went to make it I forgot I had no vegetables on hand except green beans, so I substituted a dose of one of those amazing supergreen powders that you're supposed to mix with water? Problem is it tastes like grass that way. But it's OK in the quiche.
