1. how often you see therapist for regularly scheduled in person sessions--- 1x a week, sometimes 2 if its needed
2. what method of out of office contact do you have: (call office and leave message, call personal phone, text, email; any of the above) i have his cell but only called once, i never call office unless i have to cancel and email only otherwise
3. how often do you contact your therapist outside of sessions-- i try not to, more than 1x a week
4. Does your therapist ever initiate the out of session contact to check in on your well being for therapeutic reasons (NOT just scheduling related though) or for nontherapeutic reasons like sending a meme they thought you would enjoy or something like that (not inappropriate in nature and the appropriateness at all can be in discussion if you want, but I just mean as a 'friendly' gesture but not related to session material)-- nope but that would rock
5. how quickly your therapist contacts you back-- usually within a few hrs
6. Last section is WHY you are able to contact: Scheduling ONLY, if you are in a crisis situation which either requires outside help such as hospitalization, to help bring you down/calm you from crisis situation to prevent hospitalization, help in extreme support situations but NOT only if it is life/death, you can reach out because you are feeling stressed or bad and need to hear an encouraging word or need to just know somebody is out there and you are not alone, anytime you want for any reason you want (you found a picture you wanted to share with your therapist or heard of something you thought they might like, etc....)-- basically anything

Email, EMR messaging system, recently added voicemail

with old location, she would send me a message as part of the visit closure of the EMR. I kind of initially asked/told her about it. And for a while it was hit or miss then it became consistent. With new location, I don't think the new EMR has this feature and she didn't send me a message after our first visit. I'm trying to come to terms that it is no longer there. She has initiated contact outside of sessions only a couple of times and usually logistics/business stuff.

Usually within .... hmm I want to say 24 hours. It seems that during the week, she checks her email 2x a day

I am free to email/voicemail as often as I want, about anything. She does not have a set time (like office hours) where she checks and responds to email and she does not monitor her email on a continuous basis. She has stated that she will not purposely not respond and she will respond as soon as possible (limitations are actually able to be on the internet/wifi, personal life, need to formulate an appropriate response). On the weekend it is hit or miss. She has said that she checks her voicemail 1x day. She is new to private practice so she might check things a bit more frequent as she is trying to build client base.

I am not sure how she is handling crisis with the move. With old location, there was an on-call person that we could contact. She was in that rotation pool but so was I think like 30 people.
