Ever feel uncomfortable with the thought your psychiatrist or therapist are trolling you? In my last session with my psychiatrist he enquired whether I blog or participate in forums. Without thinking, I blurted out yes. Now I regret doing so.

Guess I will have to rethink this out. At any rate, it means a change of and removal of some of my pictures and art work. Maybe a name change too.
Thanks for this!

The effort he would have to go through to find you should make you feel secure in that he won't try to figure out where you blog and who you are.

I agree that it would be highly unlikely that your mental health providers are looking for you online or that they could ever be successful, given the vastness of the internet.

Could you maybe figure out others reasons he might have asked based on context clues? Maybe he was wondering if you have social or creative outlets?

For me, it would not matter. I doubt the woman cares enough to bother, or that she would even recognize me if she did for some reason try to do so (I doubt she remembers my name on its own - it is only because it is written down in her calendar for the appointment). I have not said anything here that I have not told her directly.
If something is on a public forum - it is fair game for anyone in my opinion.
