Has anyone every heard of this, I used to ride, and I remember that feeling with the horse, so much power. I would end up letting the horse lead. Now it kind of makes sense, the fear of something having so much more power then you, just like my past and my memories they have so much power over me, how I react and how I feel.
Thanks for this!

Confused, I was just writing about that in my blog, never really thought of the horse analogy. My biggest problem was I felt that I needed to feel control over every situation that I am in. Once I got over that the anxious feelings left me and so did the anger. So maybe it is better to let go sometimes.

That is interesting - I wish I could go there and do that. I love horses and I know I'd have a lot to learn about control and trust. In Girl Scout camp once i tried to make my horse do something it didn't want and it reared! Nearly threw me off.

That was interesting, confused4ever. I had horses as a girl, growing up. I found it very natural to be with them. My best friend was my Appaloosa gelding. I felt like, growing up, he was the one creature who understood me. And I understood him.
