6 days until therapy and today I got some bad news. I’m completely crushed and hurting.

I think these are really good things to do for when you're feeling upset. I read quite a lot recently when I was going through a difficult time, it distracted my mind just enough.

That sounds really painful. I know how hard it can be when we have to wait a while to see our therapists when we feel we need them now. I admire your strength for hanging in there and taking the time you need to cope.

Someone is petitioning to have my brother and sister’s guardianship transferred to them. My siblings do not want that and I take good care of them. I can’t believe this.

Thinking of my T and our session yesterday helped me with trying to hold on to hope.

Of course you don’t have to answer but is it your dad who wants guardianship? I hope not, I hope it is someone at least responsible as you have been.

And that's awful that someone is petitioning to take guardianship of your siblings. I would think the fact that they want to stay with you should have some weight.

Hope, where i live it takes a huge paper trail to prove someone is an unfit guardian. It's not s something that can happen in short amount of time. You will get through this. I just lost my 17 year old cat just before Thanksgiving. I miss her daily, but it gets better bit by bit everyday. Try to dig deep right now for your siblings. They need you and you need them. Keep posting. We are here.
