2ex used to say, “If you could have kids I would hope they got your looks and my brains.”

Yeah...having his brains worked out SO well for him.

Is there a word/term/psychological concept for the feeling that things aren't real or that they are wrong? After session today, driving back to work, and again after I left work, things just felt unreal or wrong or like I'd entered another version of our universe. I don't really know how to describe the feeling. Like the colors and light are just off somehow. Like I'm just going through the motions but nothing is right anymore.

That is so great to hear about Chopin! She really came a long way! I am so happy to hear she is doing well.

I’d like to think I may have played with my t’s head today just a little bit.

I was at his office to interview an LCSW for a paper I have to write in class. When t came out to get his next client one of the receptionist said to him you actually have two people out there who are your clients- only one of them is here to see you. And just as t got his other client the t I was interviewing came and got me. I wonder if for a second he thought I was dumping him lol! I am sure he asked somebody what I was doing there.

Also I loved the couch history lesson.. I am fb friends with Chopin and LC as well and it’s nice to keep up with them.

I am surprised the had lasted as long as it has!

Thanks to the pocket-riders.

I'm not sure what to make of today's session, but there's more in IST.

My person's cat has been here for almost 3 months and still freaks out at my dogs who are not trying to bother him. He mostly stays upstairs where the dogs don't go -but he is a people cat. I go up and sit with him -but if he would just not hiss and run every time he sees the dogs - it would be more pleasant for me.
He is not asking himself the right questions - like - how can I make SD happier AND get more attention.

Cat logic has always baffled me, SD. I hope he has some kind of epiphany soon.
