With Mothers Day coming up here I was planning on sending my T a quick e-mail to just let her know I was thinking of her and that I appreciate her being a mother figure to me. We e-mail often so the issue is not whether to send an e-mail or not but whether the content and sending it on Mothers Day is ok? She is fully aware that I see her as a mother figure and is completely ok with this. Just not sure whether acknowledging it so formally on Mothers Day is normal/acceptable.
Anyone else done this or has any opinions on this? |

Sure why not? It's no different than emailing them Merry Christmas or something but just realize since it is a Sunday, she may not even see it on the actual day itself. Go for it though.

I feel the same way about my T and fathers day.
The last time my brother and I gave our father a card for fathers day was when I was 13 and my brother was 10. Do what is right for you. There's nothing wrong with telling any T that you appreciate them. ![]() |

I did this, I think it is fine if your T has accepted your transference.
