So I was telling T how my driving mkes me mad. I'm pretty wreckless, speed Unyet can't seem to not drive like that. . Everything I do has to be quick! Quick! Quick! When I go anywhere I want to leave as soon as I arrive. Cooking I'm slamming it around trying to get the dishes washed and put away before I've even eaten.
T thought about it then said "is like the being in the moment thing, accept for you no where feels safe, so you can't just be in the moment no matter what you're doing or where you are"
Yes, yes and yes. I never feel safe in the moment. But just talking about it gives me space to think what it is I'm doing rather then just doing it.
The word "safe" was ringing in my head after she'd said it.

Can definitely relate to zipping around and the need to keep moving, no matter what.

Im the opposite. Moving off the spot draws attention to me and that makes me unsafe.
Thanks for this!

But you seem to know that makes you feel unsafe. I didn't know what was going on for me. T naming it, finely connects the dots for me.
Until this it was just an unbearable feeling that I was rushing from.

No, you and your t helped me identify it here.

Dam shes good. Seriously.

Eta - my t and i have talked about this, like how i dont leave the house, or how i need a looooong stretch of uninterrupted time to get started, but he jumps to the next step too fast, about how there is no real danger outside, instead of staying with me about how im feeling. So the unbearable feelings just stay there.

Eta - t himself is a rusher!

That's me too....I am onto the next thing before the thing is even in process. I'm like a mosquito that barely lands before moving on. My T wants me to spend time every morning in "visualization" exercise. How can this be?
