one of my favorite PTSD stories goes like this:

someone was walking down the path, when an arrow came out of nowhere and struck them in the arm. it was a poisoned arrow, and began to burn and swell immediately. now, what was the person to do?
1) hunt for the person who shot the arrow ?
2) curse the arrow for being poisoned ?
3) take the arrow out and seek a healer ?

the mind magnifies what it is focused upon; look to ways to rebuild yourself~
