@Lemon - I see an advert for Toffifee, and I think of you.

Hugs, SK. Migraines suck. I hope you feel better soon. I wonder if you could ask your doctor about a different medicine that might not have as many side effects? |

Thanks LT. I've already been on a lot of preventative migraine meds, but wasn't able to tolerate them for one reason or another (one sent me to the hospital with seriously bad SI thinking) so it's back to the tried and true Imitrex. It just stinks when I get a lot of migraines because then I get rebound migraines from the Imitrex. It's kind of a never ending cycle. I did try Botox once but it was really expensive despite what the ads on TV say. I stopped seeing the neurologist because there was nothing left for me to try and no other help he could offer me. Luckily my new health insurance pays for 18 Imitrex pills per month instead of 9 like my last health insurance. I was always terrified of running out before months end and having nothing to help me with the migraines. Kit.

My baby kitty is home from the vet. My Dad said the vet appointment was fine, but getting her in the carrier was a nightmare. She didn't want to get in it at the end of the appointment either and she jumped off of the examination table and tried to run toward the door. Luckily they got her and were able to put her in the carrier. She is now safely at home, hiding. Hopefully she will have no trouble with her vaccine. I'm grateful to my Dad for taking care of her when I wasn't available to take her to the vet. Kit.

My baby kitty AKA Amelia was laying in her bed a couple of days ago by the Christmas tree with her favorite toy nearby. Made my heart go flip flop. Kit

After an 11 hour work day, I just reorganized my office a little - moved the futon into the new library (son's old room), moved a bookcase and slid my desk against the wall. It's a lot less crowded in there now. I like. Now I'm sitting on the couch, too lazy to make dinner, enjoying the quiet because h is out on a job. Well, quiet except the random noises of Penelope batting ornaments off the tree and then playing with them. Heehee.

Hahaha omg couch sometimes I am a little bit dumb
I’ve got a cold and attempted a sinus rinse but I used tablespoons instead of teaspoons and OH HECKING HECK THAT BURNED I’m totally fine, obviously (it was certainly effective!) and actually it reminds me of a sort of silly nice memory from when I was a child—I was baking cookies with some friends and one of the other girls did the same tablespoon-instead-of-teaspoon move and we had some seriously foul shortbread as a result. |

My old dog is sick and needs to go to the vet. I called H and told him I am low on cash to bring her to the vet. He told me he don’t have $300.00 to put out. I said well what should we do? He said to me “You will have to find a solution” Me? I have to find a solution? Is she not OUR dog? Did he just not put out $350.00 to adopt another dog after I advised against it? I’m so mad at him. So I decided he’s going to eat those words. For now on everything he says to me my answer will be back to him “Find a solution” . Hey Jersey, what do you want for dinner? Me: find a solution. Hey Jersey what do you want to watch? Me: find a solution. Hey Jersey, what time do you want to leave for dinner at my sisters? Me: Find a solution. Really those are going to be the only 3 words that come out of my mouth in response to something he asks for the foreseeable future. Come on man, together almost 19 years, he don’t know me yet? Is this not a marriage? Are we not a united front? The dog has a host of serious health issues so now it’s just my dog? Get with the program.

That sucks, Jersey. I think there's something called Care Credit or something like that...

I've been getting caught up on Game of Thrones since I was about 4 seasons behind. Today I told my therapist that if they kill off my favorite character I was going to be really upset. He said "Who is your favorite? No, wait. Let me guess." I didn't really think he would get it straight away because there are several good options and he obviously doesn't know everything about me, but he got it on the first try. That was kind of awesome.

I am overloaded with family togetherness just now. I should go out tomorrow and get a bottle of whisky.
However, nieces and new cat are getting along surprisingly well. They’ve only knocked over three houseplants so far in their repeated reenactments of the Kentucky Derby. |

Ugh, that sucks. I like your "find a solution" idea... And maybe the vet has a payment plan or something? |

“Find a Solution” should work well enough that he never says anything else like that to me again. It’s not like “Well Jersey I guess we will need to find a solution” it was literally “I don’t have $300 for the vet. You will have to find a solution”. Like it’s not “our” money or something. “ Idon’t have 300 to put out so you are going to have to find a solution.
